Man fakes being a sheriff's deputy for 6 months to impress girlfriend
2/27/2013Christopher Sharp told his live-in girlfriend, Randi, that he was a Pasco County, Fla., sheriff's deputy. For six months, he would come home in a uniform, share what happened during his day and even offer legal advice to Randi, their family and friends, and patrons at the bar where Randi works. There's only one catch: Sharpe wasn't a sheriff's deputy. He was a Pizza Hut employee who stole a uniform from his sister's boyfriend. He fessed up to authorities that he'd tried to become a deputy, and when that didn't work, started his con to impress his now-ex-girlfriend Randi. The things we do for love. [Source]
