Tweeps pissed boozing, smoking Chrysler union workers were reinstated
12/9/2012Remember those Chrysler workers caught boozing it up and maybe smoking weed on the job? So, it seems, do a boatload of Twitter users who are screaming in protest after two of them have been reinstated. Footage was captured in in September 2010 of a group of auto employees drinking alcohol and smoking what appeared to be marijuana on their lunch break. With the auto bailout fresh in everyone's minds, as well as a visit to the plant from President Obama, Chrysler fired 13 workers and suspended two. But after a union-backed arbitration process, two are now back at work, prompting angry jokes and boycott threats online. [Source]
