Chumbawamba gets knocked down for the last time

This news is gonna knock you down, but don't be surprised if you find it hard to get up again. Chumbawamba, the British band that brought us such hits as "Tubthumping" and, well, that's about it, has broken up after a whopping 30 years together. (Who knew?) In a post on their site simply titled "The End," the members admit they'd arrived at "a point where what we did as a band ... wasn't doing justice to what Chumbawamba set out to do in the first place." We're sorry they had started to feel as though their goals were eluding them, but they could have at least told us they were still together before announcing this. Be sure to have a whiskey drink, a vodka drink, a lager AND a cider drink in their memory.
