Catholics in Poland afraid that 'Demon' drink has real demons in it8/13/2012
OK, can someone please tell Poland that Demon-brand energy drink doesn't contain actual demons? The New Zealand-brewed beverage is facing a ban in the European republic because Catholic leaders are convinced that a few swigs of Demon will actually, um, turn you into one by "promoting evil, atrocities and the destruction of human souls."
"We have to fight against evil," said Franciszek Kucharczak, editor of the Sunday Guest magazine. "We cannot … let young people be absorbed into destructive ideals." Although we're not sure what the company means when it says its "Killa Troppo" flavor tastes like "oranges, mangos and passionfruit … tricked out on 'roids," it doesn't sound like opening a can will summon the Apocalypse.
