Clint Eastwood sues punk furniture company
4/9/2012Clint Eastwood is getting out the legal big guns and going after a punk furniture company that's branded a series of ottomans, chairs and entertainment centers with his name. The marketing slogans for the "Clint" and "Eastwood" products include references to the Oscar-winning actor/director's films which aren't just infringing on intellectual rights, but also kind of sound like whoever wrote the copy hadn't actually seen the movies. For instance: "The Clint 47" Entertainment Center makes your family room alone look like you live in a perfect world of a million dollar baby." Um, isn't "Million Dollar Baby" a wrenching tragedy about an assisted suicide? But the main question is: Do you feel lucky, Evofurniture?
What Clint Eastwood movie-inspired furniture would you want?
