Cloned border collies cause chaos in Central Park
12/3/2012
A living illustration of mad science has descended upon New York City's Central Park: A pair of leashless cloned border collies are running free and causing chaos. Owned by Gary Rintel, who "created" the canines from the DNA of his deceased pooch Astro, Rintel believes that leashing the pets is immoral, hence the running-free thing (he also made a hat of out of his late pup's fur, just in case you needed more proof of Rintel's, er, eccentricity). All this has resulted in more than $2,000 in fines, a couple of bitten hands and several perturbed dog owners. [Source]
