Hipster coffee shop bans talking about 'hipster topics'

In San Francisco, a hipster coffee shop staffed by hipsters and frequented by hipsters has done the most hipster thing ever -- it has banned “talking about annoying hipster topics.” Four Barrel Coffee, which has a coffee window in an alley, posted a sign that listed rules to be respectful of its neighbors. The sign made several requests: picking up trash and bringing dishes inside. It’s the last rule that bites the hipsters that pay them -- “[No] talking about annoying hipster topics. Or who you f**ked last night. You shouldn't do that anyhow, but our neighbors actually can hear you.” The kicker? The “Mucho Smoocho” sign-off. [Source]
