College causes stir by inviting genderqueer porn star to talk

An elite private college in New England has joined the ranks of higher-learning institutions to elicit a stir by inviting a controversial speaker through its doors. Williams College in western Massachusetts has invited genderqueer porn star Jiz Lee for a film screening and lecture to follow. One parent and about half a dozen alumni have voiced upset over the visit from the "pleasure activist," particularly due to the fact that the college is funding the event, but administrators note the money is from an endowment aimed specifically at human sexuality and orientation issues. Students haven't voiced the same displeasure: "What I really love about Williams is it's really kind of an exciting place to be," said anthropology student Marina Bousa.
