I really, truly hope this marks the end of Dane Cook's career. For all of us.
That said, Dane Cook is not funny. That is not funny. And the fact that somebody laughed is another reason to lose faith in humanity.

7/27/2012There are times when it's too soon to joke about tragedy, and there are tragedies that shouldn't ever be joked about. Stand-up comic and professional douche Dane Cook doesn't seem to understand either scenario. Last night at Los Angeles' Laugh Factory, Cook brought the Aurora shootings into his set because the killing of innocent people is hilaaaaarious. "If [the shootings hadn't] happened, I’m pretty sure that somebody in that theater, realizing [the movie] was a piece of crap, probably was like, ‘Ugh, f***ing shoot me,'" he said. The crowd groaned at first before breaking into laughter and applause. If anyone needs us for the rest of the day, we'll be busy wondering which was worse. [Source]
