Conan O'Brien will headline 'nerd prom' in nation's capital

What, no Stephen Colbert? In a coup for tall, awkward, redheaded comedians, Conan O'Brien has been tapped to headline that annual blurring of the line between journalist and subject known as the White House Correspondents' Association dinner. It's actually O'Brien's second time entertaining the strange assortment of guests at DC's "nerd prom." In his debut 1995 appearance, he roasted President Clinton and those at home who had nothing better to do on a Saturday night than to watch the event on C-SPAN. Earlier this week, O'Brien may have hinted at a theme for this year's event, to be held April 27, tweeting, "In honor of President’s Day, I won’t be getting along with Congress."
