Conan's 'reign' as Mashable CEO comes to an abrupt end
4/2/2012Poor Conan O'Brien's abrupt departure as Mashable's CEO should serve as a lesson in the importance of reading the fine print. He thought he was buying the tech website, but actually bought a fan website for the TV show M*A*S*H instead. Of course, his supposed takeover of Mashable was an April Fools' prank, but just to wrap things up (and give us a Monday morning laugh), the comedian has explained the "terrible misunderstanding" that led to his departure.
Watch Conan lament the end of his "long and incredible journey," consoling himself with the fact that at least he's made some advances in technology. Manual tweets, anyone?
