Congressional employees still illegally downloading 'Glee' and 'Ellen'
1/15/2013Unless there's some loophole we missed, anti-piracy laws apply to everyone, including Congress. But folks in our House of Reps are watching a whole lot of "free" flicks, according to a report by ScanEye, a website that tracks IP addresses and illegal downloads. We might spare some sympathy for job-related downloads like "All the President's Men," but "The Smurfs"? "Glee"? "The Ellen DeGeneres Show"? C'mon. Congressional employees were already called out for stealing copyrighted content back in December, but they've continued to flout the law. We know budgets are tight, but Honest Abe must be rolling in his grave. [Source]
