Conspiracy theory: The guy arrested for Aurora didn't do it
7/30/2012A bizarre conspiracy theory has been circulating on the Internet suggesting that the man who is being held by police as the Aurora shooter is not James Holmes. It’s being alleged that the man who appeared in court photos with vacant, buggy eyes and dyed red hair is an imposter. As their primary (and only) piece of evidence, proponents of the theory have the student ID photo of Holmes which hit the web the day after the shooting. They support the idea put forward in an analysis of the pictures by an unnamed crusader, that the ears and noses are too dissimilar. They say it’s clear the photos are not of the same man and a few years at college couldn’t make a person’s appearance change so significantly. We say Vicodin is a hell of a drug. [Source]
