Cops bust suspected drunken driver, find monkey in truck
5/5/2012Police probably suspected a routine driving-under-the-influence arrest when they pulled over Eugene Carl Kotelman in Largo, Fla., on Thursday night. Whatever they expected to find when they search Kotelman's truck, though, probably wasn't what they found: a small monkey. After police added "wildlife violations" to Kotelman's felony drunk driving charge, they initially released the monkey into the care of a friend of Kotelman's -- later, however, the monkey was taken into custody of state officers. Here's hoping they treat the monkey better than the guy who put it in his truck and then allegedly drove around wasted.
Why do you think the driver had a monkey in his truck?
