Cops crash $80K ’80s-themed wedding, arrest groom
4/12/2012John Dalton obviously wanted to make a big splash by blowing his $80K life savings on his extravagant '80s-music-themed wedding. He got more than he bargained for, though, when an argument with the DJ sparked a police raid in which 15 cops, a dog and a helicopter crashed his party and arrested him. The DJ had spun Lulu's "Shout," which wasn't on the preselected playlist, infuriating Dalton, who'd had one too many. A cop "pulled out a Taser device, pointed it at me and said he would use it if I didn't calm down," says Dalton, adding, "We spent all that money and it ended up a disaster. It was heartbreaking."
