Cops say man was driving drunk with zebra and parrot
5/23/2012What at first seemed like a routine drunken driver stop for police outside a bar in Dubuque, Iowa, turned into a mini circus when officers discovered the man they had pulled over had a zebra and a parrot riding shotgun with him. Police arrested Jerald Reiter, 55, on charges of operating while intoxicated and discovered the unusual passengers in the front of his truck. Reiter said he and his wife were taking the animals to the bar because the staff allows people to bring animals inside. The bar's owner says animals have never been allowed inside. But what we really want to know is, how do you get a zebra into your truck in the first place?
