Cops say teacher bootlegged prom tickets, pocketed cash

It's a prom scandal that's completely classless: An Ohio teacher is accused of ripping off students, selling them prom tickets under the table and pocketing the cash. Damning evidence supports that the teacher, who has resigned and is being criminally investigated, did indeed risk her career for a little pocket money: $800 dollars is missing from the sale of 20 tickets. Those who bought the bootleg prom tickets had trouble getting into the milestone event and confronted the teacher, who allegedly asked that they not report her. (Quite the role model!) A relative of the teacher has come forward to pay $160 toward the prom ticket deficit, and the accused teacher has not returned to class since prom.
