Cops say teacher head-butted rowdy student three times
4/13/2012It seems safe to assume that parents send their children to school every day confident that, whatever else might happen, they will not be head-butted by their teachers. Well, Tampa parents can no longer make that assumption after the arrest of a 33-year-old teacher accused of head-butting his 13-year-old student. Apparently the student said the first head-butt didn't hurt, which lead to a rapid succession of two more head-butts, which we're guessing did. According to police, the student was "horsing around" at the time. However, a head-butt is possibly the worst way to admonish a kid for horseplay, which is why another teacher reported the incident, and the head-butt-happy teacher is currently out on a $2,500 bail and charged with child abuse.
