Cops say wannabe burglar stuck under door for 9 hours

It's hard to think on your feet when you're lying on the ground, especially if your head's wedged under a door. Yet this is what Manuel Fernandes, 53, allegedly attempted to do when an employee of a Rent-A-Center in Brockton, Mass., found him stuck under the store's loading dock door. The employee videoed Fernandes saying he had been trying to fix the door (which in a way, would have been true), then explaining he had the wrong address, and finally 'fessing up that he'd been stuck there since midnight and could he please be freed because he hadn't taken anything. Police said they plan to charge the unfortunate Fernandes with breaking and entering.
