If you want to steal a fancy sports car, you need to drive a stick1/31/2013
Two wannabe thieves had everything they needed to carjack Randolph Bean's bright yellow Corvette. They had the gun, they had the guts, but they didn't have the knowledge. Bean was waiting outside the Orlando Regional Medical Center when the two men forced his car door open, dragged him out and tried to take off with the car. But their plan hit the skids when they couldn't start it. Lying on the ground with a gun pointed at him, Bean shouted out stick shift 101 instructions, telling them to "push in the clutch," but they just couldn't master it. The unqualified carjackers fled with Bean's wallet, keys and phone instead — earning them a lifetime membership to the "dumb criminals" club. [Source]
