Fired-up NJ mayor to live off food stamps after Twitter challenge

Newark Mayor Cory Booker isn't one to turn down a challenge. Already this year, the mayor has gone to the aid of a neighbor stranded in a burning building and helped a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Now Booker has vowed to live off food stamps for at least a week, following a debate on Twitter with a tweep who challenged a tweet he wrote quoting the Greek historian Plutarch about the imbalance between rich and poor. Twitter user @MWadeNC initially argued that every family in America should be able to afford breakfast because of the aid provided by each state.
