Coyotes attack man walking his dog in Kent, Wa.

A man was attacked by three coyotes while walking his dog near his home in Kent, Wa. Faron Scarberry was left with bruises and scratches on his arms and needed 26 rabies shots thanks to a bite on his leg. "They were coming around the bush and I guess they were going after my puggle," Faron said of the attack. When one of them latched onto the leg of his pants, he punched and kicked the animals until they ran away. According to wildlife experts, humans are more likely to encounter coyotes in winter as the creatures search for food. [Source]
