Cranky neighbors complain about toddler's chalk artwork

According to her neighbors, 3-year-old Emerson Cohen's favorite hobby is offensive and disturbing. Is she pole dancing? Selling bath salts out of her sandbox? No, the toddler draws on a neighborhood common area with sidewalk chalk. Or she did, until the Homeowners Association banned her outdoor art and some people in her Stapleton, Colorado neighborhood have equated it with "a criminal act." The HOA's attorney says that Emerson is grounded until the association can meet to discuss the (non)issue. Emerson's mom, Sarah, says her pint-sized Picasso isn't going to surrender her sticks of chalk. "My initial reaction was 'You have to be kidding me,'" she said. "It's summertime and God forbid my daughter is drawing flowers, her name and hearts."
