Criminal mastermind steals $25K worth of detergent
2/14/2012It's safe to say that the manager of a Minnesota Wal-Mart was agitated when he realized that over $25,000 worth of laundry detergent was missing. That's where Patrick Paul Costanzo came in. Or, more accurately, where he went out.
Costanzo has been charged with theft after being caught on camera "taking detergent and other items" for the past month, including six grand worth of Tide. "[Thieves] have done the same thing with baby formula for years," St. Paul Police Chief Bud Shaver told the Star-Tribune. "It's an essential. You're going to buy it."
Or you're going to wheel it out of Wal-Mart by the cartful. Either way.
Why do you think he stole all that Tide?
