Critics say Disney exhibit was 'fat-shaming' kids

Disney's interactive "Habit Heroes" exhibit was supposed to be a fun way to teach kids about positive lifestyle choices. Instead, the now-closed EPCOT attraction has become a super-sized problem, and the park is being criticized for "fat-shaming" overweight children. Habit Heroes, co-sponsored by insurance giant Blue Cross/Blue Shield, followed mega-fit Will Power and Callie Stenics as they fought villains representing -- among other things -- junk food and laziness. Unfortunately, the evil 'Lead Bottom' and 'The Snacker' were drawn as flabby blobs. "Here's to Disney reinforcing society's most hateful negative obesity stereotyping," Dr. Yoni Freedhoff wrote. "What kid doesn't want to ... feel like a personal failure while on a Disney vacation?"
