Crocodile on a plane is a real thing that happened, not a tacky sequel

9/24/2012

Add "Crocodile escapes on plane" to the (increasingly long) list of terrifying things that happen in Australia. Qantas Airways has confirmed that a crocodile escaped from its cage last week on a flight from Brisbane to Melbourne, and was discovered roaming the cargo hold by a baggage handler who presumably wet his pants and ran away screaming. Fortunately the croc was recaptured without incident. Qantas didn't reveal the size of the crocodile, so it might have only been a relatively harmless baby — although we prefer to imagine it was a monstrous beast that was wrestled off the plane by Samuel L. Jackson.
