Croc spooking folks along the Thames left behind by Bond, James Bond

3/3/2013

Sure, it could have been a zoo escapee. Or ... well, Richard Smith didn't have any other good theories. He only knew what he'd seen: a crocodile, surfacing and disappearing in the Thames river near his home in Reading, England. Because, you know, crocs always hang out in frigid English waters. Leave it to a local spoilsport to ruin the panic, however. It turns out the fearsome beast was one of the prop crocs Roger Moore dashed across to make his escape in "Live and Let Die," and had washed away from an island where it had been kept by a boat proprietor who worked on the film.
