Cure a hangover in 45 minutes at Hangover Heaven8/4/2012
People go to Las Vegas to "decompress and have a good time," as anesthesiologist Dr. Jason Burke charitably puts it. Knowing that some people will do almost anything to dodge alcohol's aftereffects, Burke launched a recovery clinic on wheels: Hangover Heaven. Getting stuck with an I.V. drip tailor-made for your symptoms costs $99 and takes a mere 45 minutes. Why hasn't someone done this in your city? Well, back-of-the-bus medical treatments aren't usually legal. "The one nice thing about Nevada is that it's not a high regulatory state," Burke proudly imparts. Clients can either crawl up to Hangover Heaven or reserve in advance, because if there's one thing binge drinkers are good at, it's planning.
