Curious kitten rescued after getting stuck in car wheel

By all rights, this ten-week-old kitten should no longer be with us after getting stuck in the tight grip of a car wheel -- but fortunately she had a lucky escape when a passerby heard her mewling. The inquisitive kitty, born to a feral cat in a nearby garden shed, had popped her head through part of the wheel and couldn't free herself. An animal inspector tried to extricate her using margarine, but when that failed, he took the entire wheel and cat to a local animal hospital where K-Y Jelly eventually did the trick. The appropriately-named Alloy is now recovering from her ordeal at the hospital and receiving treatment for her eyes.
