These photos get you thisclose to lion cub and his dad

We're sure this little lion will someday star in one of those terrible YouTube videos where it eats something incredibly adorable and defenseless, like a baby impala. For now, though, our hearts belong to the cub, seen here meeting his father for the first time. A 36-year-old American photographer, Suzi Eszterhas, spent three months tracking the pride of lions across the Masai Mara reserve in Kenya, waiting for the moment when the lioness would allow her newborn cubs to meet their relatives: "It makes it all worthwhile when you get to witness and capture incredible moments like this."
