GOP pol carries big stick, nearly throttles protester, say reports

If you think the fiscal cliff debate has gotten heated in Washington, wait till you hear what just happened in Florida. A protest at the Seminole offices of Republican Congressman C.W. Bill Young took a particularly ugly turn on Monday when the 81-year-old pol apparently came thisclose to walloping a protester with his cane. According to local reports, a "particularly persistent activist" was loudly questioning Young about his stance on taxes for the wealthiest Americans when Young lost it, grabbing the activist by the arm and raising his walking stick, "largely looking like he was attempting to strike the protester."
