Daisy-ed and confused drug cops mistake flower garden for pot
10/5/2012If you'd like to buy an early Christmas gift for the Lethbridge, Alberta, police department, they could probably use a book on botany. The cops were looking for pot when they raided Ryan Thomas Rockman's home, and they seized 1,624 plants, pounds and pounds of leafy green… daisies. At the time, the police high fived themselves, announcing the biggest bust in the city's history but now that bust looks more like a bonk. "It made me look like a villain and it made them look silly," Rockman said. "Everybody makes mistakes. I still scratch my head over how." Not so fast, Ryan. Although the cops dropped one charge against him, he still faces prosecution for possessing some (real) marijuana. [Source]
