Well-wishers send dying boy more than half a million Christmas cards

A dying Kentucky boy has been getting tons of mail this Christmas as he tries to set an individual world record for receiving the most Christmas cards. Thanks to some help from his Clarke County school and a Facebook page dedicated to his challenge, 9-year-old Dalton Dingus is hoping to set a Guinness World Record for the most cards received by one person. Dalton, who has cystic fibrosis, has received more than half a million cards, including many from around the world. He has also gotten a giant postcard from his local post office, which we guess shows there are no bad feelings from the mail carriers who may be struggling with strained back muscles.
