'Homeland' star sends Obama DVDs 'from one Muslim to another'

If you're a "Homeland" fan, you know that British actor Damian Lewis is capable of murderous moves on screen and slightly douche-y ones in real life (including a somewhat cringe-inducing acceptance speech at the Emmys). His bad manners have struck again: The actor added a personal message on a box set of "Homeland" DVDs sent to President Obama, who's a fan of the show, that read "From one Muslim to another" (Lewis plays an undercover Muslim on the show). "I couldn't take it back," Lewis says. "I was then writing emails for the whole of the next week going, 'I do hope he understands irony.'" [Source]
