Watch this reporter make a toddler cry on live TV
9/18/2012The beauty of live television lies in its unpredictability. Last week, during a live segment at the Fall Harvest Festival in Platteville, Colo., Dan Daru, a reporter for Denver television station KDVR, tried to pal around with a toddler he called “Drew the Farm Kid.” Drew, whose sourpuss expression should've been a hint he was poised for an epic tantrum, started bawling as Daru teased him. A studio anchor chided Daru, telling him “Way to go, Dan, way to make a baby boy cry on live television,” while her co-anchor held papers to his face as he cracked up. Daru then danced a jig to a song from “The Wizard of Oz,” momentarily calming the boy. [Source]
