Step right up, folks: The gun debate circus is back in town. Connecticut governor Dan Malloy says the NRA's president "reminds me of the clowns at the circus." The governor compared Wayne LaPierre to Big Top buffoons, because "they get the most attention, and that's what he's paid to do." Malloy said that 92 percent of the American people want universal background checks. Which, if accurate, means that so few people oppose the policy, they could all fit comfortably in a tiny car. We don't know who the true clown is in this fight, but if the whole world swapped the guns on their belts for pies in their faces, it would be a better place. [Source]
