Dan Marino admits to fathering daughter with CBS assistant
1/31/2013Dan Marino seems to be a Hall of Famer at keeping a secret, too. The Miami Dolphins great and CBS football analyst has confessed to a 2004 affair with former network production assistant Donna Savattere that produced a daughter, Chloe. But not until after paying her mother millions of dollars to keep the matter private, according to the New York Post. "I take full responsibility both personally and financially for my actions now as I did then," Marino said in a statement to the newspaper, which reported Savattere began "living large" as a New York socialite after the affair. For Marino, the timing of the revelation could have been better. Not only is he working Sunday's Super Bowl telecast, but Wednesday was his 28th wedding anniversary. [Source]
