Youth coach allegedly robbed pizza joint during team banquet
11/3/2012Ever been at a team banquet for the youth football team you coach and get the hankering to commit a robbery? That’s what police in Ceres, Calif., allege Daniel McGill did on the night of Oct. 22. Surveillance video from Rico’s Pizza shows the 28-year-old and another unidentified man confronting an employee. McGill’s accomplice punched the employee, and then McGill is seen throwing a cash register to the ground and taking money from it. McGill was at the restaurant for a team banquet — attended by at least 60 people — and was at the party for hours before deciding to rob the joint. [Source]
