But a government body tasked with ensuring equality in Denmark has ruled that hairdressers must charge men and women the same price for haircuts, regardless of hair length and time spent cutting. The Danish Board of Equal Treatment reached its decision following a complaint from a woman upset that her salon charged her $18 more for a trim than it charged guys.
