'Dark Knight Rises' star freaked when script vanished
3/26/2012We've all know the panic that sets in when we can't find our keys or wallets: Imagine the sheer terror of thinking you've lost a script from one of the world's most heavily guarded, highly anticipated movies. Gary Oldman reveals he thought he'd misplaced a script for "The Dark Knight Rises" at a hotel. He told BBC News he was "in a panic for 20 minutes" before remembering he'd hidden the papers under his bed's mattress because he "couldn't scrunch it in the safe." And it's lucky he did. "It had my name on it," he said. "They would have killed me." That would have been the start of a whole new plot line.
