Dash-cams show just how unsafe it is to drive in Russia

Whatever bad thoughts you have about driving where you live, it has to be safer than motoring in Russia. Sure, the worst has been distilled in this supercut of dash-cam videos: insane crashes, purse-snatchings, road-rage beatdowns and even scammers who lie down in front of cars in hopes of an insurance payoff. But if you don't want to carry a baseball bat in the shotgun seat -- or a shotgun in the bat seat -- your only way to defend yourself on the street or in court is with a dash cam. Not that it will do much to deter the strategically placed car bomb. Makes your morning commute seem almost civilized, doesn't it?
