Man gets free candy 60 years after complaining about a bad piece

1/25/2013

A Minnesota man who complained to a candy company 60 years ago finally got his way this week, receiving a box of treats to settle the complaint. In 1952, Dave Bell discovered a twig in his nut roll bar and wrote to the Pearson's Candy Company "to obviously get some candy." He received a letter of apology but nothing more. The 74-year-old Bell found that letter last year and wrote back, respectfully noting he never received any hush-up treats. A whole box of compensation candy arrived last week. [Source]
