Dave Chappelle joins Twitter for real this time (maybe)
3/22/2012It looks as though Dave Chappelle has joined Twitter. The handle @chappelledavidk recently appeared on the microblogging site, and while the account hasn't been verified, this Chappelle amassed more than 120,000 followers in a day and a half. Most importantly, fellow comedian Aziz Ansari vouched for him, tweeting the message "Follow Dave Chappelle: @chappelledavidk. It's him. Trust." "Chappelle Show" co-creator Neal Brennan also confirmed the user's identity. The reclusive comedian posted a pic of himself having a deep thought "whilst on my motorcycle" and teased about a possible comeback saying "I'm off to the gym. Replacing good character with good looks is a cornerstone of my comeback stratagem. (sarcasm)." Don't toy with us, Dave, if that really is you.
