20 parenting nightmares this dad wants the whole world to see

Most dads try to hide their mistakes, but Dave Engledow has posted an alternate reality version of egregious errors on Facebook. OK, he didn’t really subject his daughter, Alice Bee, to the mayhem in the 20 photos above. Takoma Park, Md., resident Engledow is a zany-brained Photoshop wiz who started posting pix like these to amuse family and friends — and whip up some (bizarre) memories for Alice. But the project exploded, touching a nerve with parents everywhere. Engledown says his character is “a parody of the father I hope I never become — distracted self-absorbed, neglectful, clueless or even occasionally overbearing.” Dad’s aiming to release a World’s Best Father calendar next year.
