Dave Grohl's huge drumsticks are real record-breakers
7/10/2012Drumroll, please: Dave Grohl's Ohio hometown of Warren has honored him with a set of massive drumsticks. Tipping the scale at 900 pounds, the whopping pair of poplar wood sticks has just snared a Guinness World Record, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighters front-man tweeted a message of gratitude: "To the wonderful city of Warren ... thank you all so much ... For the childhood memories. ... For the world's largest drumsticks! And for all of your support ... But most of all for being such a great community. One that makes me proud to say ... I am from Warren, Ohio!" Hometown support: can't beat it.
