These parents literally packed up the kids — in a moving van

The worst thing about moving is packing. Where to put all that stuff? For David and Rebecca Detjen, loading their moving truck won’t win them any Parents of the Year awards. The Pennsylvania couple was bound for California when they were pulled over in their 24-foot moving truck by an Indiana state trooper. A relative had tipped off the cops that the couple had packed their unheated cargo area with items of interest to the authorities — five of their seven kids and their 18 cats. The trooper at the scene discovered the children stuffed into truck’s cargo hold with boxes, sleeping bags, appliances and the caged cats. [Source]
