Obama adviser finally says goodbye to 'stache of 40 years

One of the most famous mustaches in American politics is no more. David Axelrod, senior adviser to President Obama, had his legendary lip-warmer removed on the "Morning Joe" program on Friday, after raising $1 million for epilepsy research. Axelrod had initially instigated and won an Election Day bet with host Joe Scarborough, but instead of making Scarborough grow a 'stache, Axelrod vowed to remove his if a cool million could be raised for CURE, an epilepsy charity he founded.
