Obama adviser finally says goodbye to 'stache of 40 years

David Axelrod, senior adviser to President Obama, had his legendary lip-warmer removed on the "Morning Joe" program on Friday, after raising $1 million for epilepsy research. Axelrod had initially instigated and won an Election Day bet with host Joe Scarborough, but instead of making Scarborough grow a 'stache, Axelrod vowed to remove his if a cool million could be raised for CURE, an epilepsy charity he founded. "There are people who have lost a lot more than a mustache to epilepsy,” he said pre-shave. [Source]
