Dad accused of murdering drunk driver who killed his sons
2/13/2013An epically tragic series of events led to one Texas dad being charged with murder for allegedly killing the drunk driver who killed his sons. David Barajas reportedly shot and killed Jose Banda on Dec. 7, after Banda struck the Barajas family’s pickup truck, killing Barajas’ 11 and-12-year-old sons. The boys and their father had been pushing the disabled truck toward the family’s home, when Banda, who was reportedly intoxicated, crashed his Chevy Malibu into the vehicle. Witnesses reported that Barajas went into his nearby house and came out with the gun he allegedly used to shoot Banda in the head. [Source]
