Bowie effortlessly ch-ch-ch-changes to age 66, releases new single

1/8/2013

Break out the hair gel and stardust! David Bowie released "Where Are We Now?" just seconds after midnight on his 66th birthday. It's his first single in a decade, and that's not his only gift to humanity: A new studio album, "The Next Day," is due out in March. So much for that retirement rumor — he's re-emerged as fabulous, profound and (dare we say) gorgeous as ever, posting this haunting video produced by multimedia artist Tony Oursler and proving he's still on the cutting edge with an iTunes-only release. Cue explosion of #Bowie and adoring tweets like @Garyjkemp's "The song is achingly brilliant. In tears," as well as @BoyGeorge's "'Where Are We Now' bloody gorgeous!" [Source]
